fine whine

So it's been raining buckets every night, right? Well, our downspouts aren't attached very well, but I don't have an easy way to fix them without hanging over the edge of the roof, and working blind.

Speaking of blind, I just finished watching the two (BBC Mystery) series of Second sight with Clive Owen, and they were interesting. I can empathize with Owen's D.C.I. Tanner as a fellow employee hiding blindness from his co-workers, though I am just too lazy to put in my contacts (and too vain to be seen in my glasses) and he's got some rare debilitating condition that severely impairs his vision. Anyway, they're slow but not boring-ly so. If you've got six hours to blow, give 'em a shot. You can fast forward through the Diana Rigg segments though... she's gotten pretty old, you may notice.
