right up my alley
So it was Scott’s thirtieth birthday. It was decided to hoodwink him into a surprise party of sorts at the fabulous always-open Columbus Square Bowling Palace. I must admit a good time was had by quite a few of us.
Bowling is fun! I took my usual tack of alternating between balls of fourteen and six pounds. I got but one strike, and wound up with a score in the low eighties. It wasn’t my best game by far but I enjoyed it, and that’s what matters. I did manage to do something I’d never seen before: I knocked a pin clear of the reach of the resetting gate thing. I nearly picked up a spare when I knocked it with my ball into the remaining pins, but it only whapped four of the remaining five down. Here, take a look (between throws).

Yeah, so the first picture’s utterly unnecessary, but I just thought that extra splash of color might brighten up the place a little bit.
