sunday bloody sunday
It is a nasty spring Sunday, rife with rain and chill, and I have no motivation to do anything at all, let alone the website I need to rebuild, the stereo cabinet I need to disassemble, the boxes I need to unpack and more and more. None of this do I want to do.
I’m also in the middle of a Ludlum thriller, The Janson directive, on loan from a friend whose patience far outstrips… well, you can come up with a clever way to end that. I’m still drained from reading Lorenzo Carcaterra’s Gangster, itself hot on the heels of the “wild west classic” You can’t win by a ne’er-do-well by the name of Jack Black. The latter two are more similar than most might expect, each describing a long life of crime, just over different eras. If you have a friend or a library nearby with either, borrow and read them. I’ll let you know about the Ludlum another day.
